I haven't updated facebook or Twitter in a while 'cause I haven't had anything to update. Until last night I still had stabbing surgery pain across my shoulders but had mostly lost the all-over pain I've been dealing with for the last 13.5 years.
But sitting in a pew for an hour-and-a-half last night then cooking supper and cleaning up afterwards knocked my whole back out-of-whack and it still hurts. So, as long as I take it easy for another few weeks, I think the prognosis is good.

ReplyDeleteI found this blog via a link in a Kingdom of Loathing store. Reading your story about your back injury and all the pain you went through I have to say hats off! I don't think I would've been able to deal with all this. I know I got really lucky three times already. Because that's how often I have been hit by a car; but the worst I got from that was a broken knee cap the second time I got hit by a car. But if my situation had been as bad as yours, I really don't know if I could've handled it for as long as you have.
I really hope everything turns out well for you.
